#025 Death is a Myth! Atleat Partially?

Good day, all!
This actually is the toughest nut to crack. Or rather, try to crack! Actually, I may include birth, too, which is a myth along with this. I may use the first-person singular method to deal with these. Enter the relativity, as I am not George, as it was a name used to represent my physical body largely, and basically, my activities associated with my body. A tip I got when I was attending the 'Art of Living' basic course introduced by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the late '90s. There was a question asked to all: when and at what age each remembered their presence in this world. In my case, it was age three when I was taken to my parish nunnery to join my pre-school, and I refused badly and came back home. So, practically, my life as George started from then only. I lived till then in this world without my persona, after, say, around 3 years after leaving my mother's womb(where, @ nine months of body building process, which may be dealt with sometime later). I assume that case may be the same for most human beings, and I am not sure of other living beings, but I never consider them as superior or inferior to us, and as we can go ahead and kill most of them legally for survival or as a game, is never enough reason to make them inferior.
So, now, death is a myth, with quite a lot of relativity involved. Say, if I look at the phenomenon called death, there are two versions to it, which we normally overlook. First is the' death of others, and second is one's own death. The first one is almost absolute, at least in the plane we are all in. Energy, which was making the one tick, had vanished, and we just had to dispose of the mortal remains with due respect. A lot of religious ceremonies may be conducted, and the purpose behind most of which is not known today, to the best of my knowledge. Even though they were logically correct and formed based on the science that religion had achieved. Sorry, the science which achieved the religion-hood. We are not going to see the dead again or communicate with them. We just have to miss them, even the most beloved ones. Please neglect the Ouija Board and other occult systems. Here, I may introduce, maybe the only postulate for this whole blog page, as: A Time machine is an impossibility. Sorry, and one more, there is free will for us. So death and birth, both, may be considered as a truth in this materialistic plane, even though we never know what we are.
Now, when it comes to my own death, I am really serious about what happens to me at the last minute. No, I am not expecting a solution for this probe. As of now, nobody has come back from death and given an answer to this query. Even then, it need not be valid for me. The hell and heaven story, too, is not acceptable to me, as there is no logic at all in it. It insinuates that my identity/ persona is going to remain intact after death, too. But it is quite possible that either my persona is stripped off, or maybe I just become void. The void part may need some explanation, as it happens to us frequently, but goes unnoticed. I mean a good sleep without any dreams or nightmares, which may partially or fully make you aware of your persona. So that condition may happen in a never-ending state when you die, possibly. That may be the reason why many state death as an eternal sleep. Possibilities are immense. At this stage, I may mention a Hindu devotional poem named Njanappana(The song of knowledge) by a Keralite Brahmin Poonthanam Namboothiri of the 16th century(sad that his name is not known now- Poonthanam is the name of his family), which I had mentioned in my profile section of this blog. I may add a link here, which may give the English translation of the song- click here, and many thanks to Harsha of Luthar.com. The poet faced the accidental death of his only child, which occurred after many years of prayers. The poem gives very lurid details of death, which must have been known to the Brahmins of those days. Which, anyway, was much more interesting and logical compared to the heaven/ hell arrangement. And it explains death mostly with rebirths and won't explain the persona remains in all cases.
Whatever may be the birth and death, it basically deals with the persona part only for us. But what we are actually and our capabilities are never known to us. People like Sadh Guru talk about the life enters the foetus in the mother's womb only after, say, four months after conception. But I do not want to take it as a fact, as I am not going to accept anything blindly. Every, within the womb or out, the life-form within us is changing. Every sleep is critical. The true self may not be understood only if you can trace your way back to your mother's womb; Jesus said something similar to this.
There is another story said by Sadh Guru as a talk between Bodhidharma Buddha and a Chinese emperor, where Buddha asks him to kill his ego/ or self. I might have said before that the self for a human being is considered a bad thing. Applying relativity to the word selfishness, the meaning changes depending on the value of the term self. For a good self the selfishness should produce good acts, and a bad one may give out evil acts (Again applying the same relativity, the good and bad may change their values as time passes; good things may turn bad and vice versa). Many times, a good self may act quite adamantly and make others feel that part a bit irritating and bad. Coming back, the self is normally considered as the persona, and it may be quite correct that what Bodhidharma Buddha had said was acceptable. But then, on a practical level, it is as good as committing suicide or accepting death. Your persona is your last straw here, and the sole purpose of living here, and by any chance, if you manage to shed it by any means, it may expose the raw you within you, and it may be disastrous for you and the society living around you. Being aware of your true self to whatever extent you manage to do so will only remain dynamic, and it can not become static. It is like centrifugal and centripetal forces, and any imbalances may change your radius of rotation and keep the thread holding you healthy.

#024 Root Cause Analysis With No Blame Culture!

Good day, All!
Without saying this I can not proceed. All along I was trying a sequence, but this is the most important part. This particular phrase I got from the Japanese Shipping Company NYK, I had worked with, for a short period. This is the method they used to shipboard failures and accidents. Searching for a cause at the root level will make it possible to establish the best possible preventive measures. If you start blaming people, your chances of finding the root cause which may be lying deeper. This in a way makes the punishment process impossible.

#023 Important Addition to Relativity!

Good day, All!
This is a very important addition to the relativity issue I was talking about earlier. To search for something absolute outside to me, I should know where I stand. And the science of today talk about the earth, universe, Milkyway, galaxies and all that. But more than all these, it is very clear that I need "space" to contain me. So space is real for me. And we say zero or nothing is there. But I am not able to at least, just to visualize nothingness or zero of  'Space". Any amount of struggle I put in, it is not possible for me who is alive. Maybe when I sleep? But I am not conscious and I don't know fully about when I sleep and dreams and nightmares still disturb me. Imaginary space? Or sub/ super imaginary space? And try to visualize the entirety of space and please don't try to depict it with the word "Infinity"! And forget "indefinite" as it is not valid in this discussion, evidently. So we have to decide about what assumption can be made about the characteristics of "Space". and without that, there is no point in pursuing the search for an absolute!
I may add one more thing about consciousness. We normally sate two states of mind as conscious. and the root word ( Also as per Normal Lewis's Word Power made Easy and Ida Ehrlich's Instant Vocabulary says same) "sub" suggests something lower and beneath. But normally sub suffixed word meaning interpreted as inferior to the main word. So naturally, we feel that consciousness is more capable and efficient than subconscious. But let us consider a few cases. It takes instantaneous actions, to protect your limbs, head, chest etc from external parts. It uses all sensory elements to do this. It keeps surveillance of all your internal organs also gives sensory feedbacks like pain, fever and other signs and symptoms to give you advance warning. Sometimes these may be only a side-effect of remedial measures it is taking! But consciousness allows us to struggle and engineer this world and takes care of our survival. Even procreation is largely effected by subconsciousness. So from my point of view, so-called consciousness is an important outer layer of underlying superconsciousness, but we call it subconsciousness! It is very much conscious even while sleeping and recedes to a very low value on approaching a coma state.
Another thing about relativity is that, if there is nothing absolute, how can we live. All we can do is live like walking on thin ice! If you tell someone to peel off the leaves of cabbage, one who doesn't know the job will end up peeling off all leaves so that no cabbage will be left. Se we will make sure that we will tell that person to peel off only dry and rotten leaves so that we will have a cabbage left for the day! So when we live we try to remove stupidly relative stuff, as much as we can. At the same time, this relativity has so many advantages, like the concept of good and bad, made this world possible!
This is the place the word Maya may be introduced. But I feel powerless to take that word, the reason behind is that in my place, Goddess mother earth is called as " Oh! Mother, the supreme illusionist"!
Thanks and Best Regards,
George A P.
