In Christian marriage invitations, it is normally mentioned as "Deo Volente" be solemnised on so and so time at so and so church. I tried to Google it and find out what it means, and I got the answer that the ceremony may occur only if God wills. As usual, I got a different viewpoint: that the marriage in a spiritual sense may happen only if God wills, after the ceremony. It is more like what Richard Bach mentioned in his book 'One '. The bodies and one soul concept is the target to be achieved, as the priest also mentions. The ceremony itself is the legalisation of living together, in a spiritually bonded way to achieve the target. So the real solemnization may or may not come depending on the zeal the couple put in.
