This topic was taken up in another context in post #223, and here I would actually like to go a little bit deeper into it. I belong to a place extremely close to a place called Ameda, which got its name from a temple there. Aama in Malayalam means tortoise, and it is said that it is the place where the tortoise stood as the base for the ocean churning (samudra manthan). Tortoise is supposed to be the second Avatar of Maha Vishnu. A stupid fuzzy logic may assume that Ameda means the land of the tortoise, and the same stupid logic makes it Aama- Zone. And Amazon is located almost diametrically opposite to my place! Quite funny logic, but!
