#226 Try To Focus On The Inventors/ Discoverers More Than The Inventions/ Discoveries.

 Good Day, All!

This is what I used to follow all along my life, and it used to be fruitful; the fruits were always quite bitter, but!

#225 Pieces On The Board Are More Important Than The Players In A Game Of Chess!

 Good Day, All!

I was never good at chess, nor was I fascinated by it. I started playing the game at around the age of 16 or 17. One neighbour of mine used to beat me, or make me resign, in say, a few moves. And I got a game guide written by a Russian Player, which explained how to counter-trap my neighbour, clearly. The next day tried it and it worked nicely, and my neighbour threw the board and the pieces away and never came back to play. After that, I, too, never played much. And I lost that book also, which I miss badly even now, even though I am not really interested in Chess.

So, coming back to the topic, as I have already said in my earlier posts, I am more interested in the postulates or pre-postulates than the laws of science or say the rules of the game. From the naming of the pieces to their freedom of movement and unique aberrations like En Passant and Castling are quite intricate. Chess chessboard is like a war zone, more attached to human society than any other game or sport, where humans take part directly. Players may give priority to protect their Kings and beat the other King using the protecting/ attacking system provided. But to me, the most important aspect is the pawn promotion, where a simple pawn can transform into something so prominent, except for the King or the pawn itself, and it is quite understandable. And if the pawn were alive, it would be a miserable state for it.

#223 Nature Is The Ultimate Deceiver!

 Dear All, Good Day!

Another tough nut! Let me start with the Hindu Mythology; even the Mahabharat may be considered a myth. Start with MahaVishnu. Also called Narayana, and Hari and a lot. There is a hymn called Vishnu Sahasra Nama which iterates all 1000 names of him. By the way, in some contexts, the mother Goddess is also called Narayana, which means the word has a feminine form also. Krishna and Rama are supposed to be the Avatars of Vishnu, and Krishna is used to name a male and female and same way, Rama too. My Swami Ji used to say that Krishna means something that can attract strongly, and Rama means a pleasing one. So, may they have acquired these names later on than by birth.

So, coming to the point, Vishnu was the schemer of the Samudra Manthan, and it says he tells a lot of lies to get things done. Krishna in the Mahabharat also seems does like that. Rama was not into it, I feel. Also, if you read the Harinama Keerthana, it says that everything perceived by humans is only Vishnu. So it may be assumed that this nature itself is Vishnu. Now, coming to nature, and we humans, whether it is a created one or an accidental Big Bang, our survival was the purpose of all the senses provided along with our bodies. Survival, as we know, is not a long-term one, but we pull on till we reproduce and will not become obsolete. Start with the breath to the reproductive system, all are provided with some element of happiness of varying levels. And it is not because of the Genesis but just because nature wants it, sex is made a sin. And the rules keep changing, and nature takes care of it. I almost said it as a divine intervention, but I am sure it is not that way. We will be led to circumstances of that kind and victims of circumstances, what we are, anyway! If you understand this principle that nature holds, you may lose interest in all of these sensory pleasures, and you become an ascetic. That is just the beginning, and nature will take you for a joy ride. Reminds me of an old movie, Jumanji, which I started watching again!

#222 I Feel Human being Is Still A Beta Version, Yet To Be Finalised; If At All!

 Dear All, Good day!
